These handsome shields are made from Kola wood which is indigenous to the Cameroonians who make them. The shields are hand carved reproductions of traditional Bamileki shields. They are carved from a single piece of wood and the patterns are dyed with a white dye made from chaulk.
Kindly note the shields are mounted on a flat black metal base with a black metal rod. No longer available on the acrylic base as pictured.
Sizes are approximate due to the hand made nature of the shields.
